General

General Goals for June 2001:
----------------------------
- Finalize plans for team member career development based on outcomes
- Work with Roger and Bob to resolve question of EAST operational role
- Begin discussions with ITAG about VPNs
- Meet with Peter Kelley re EAST taking over IXOS
- Resolve status of Jana and Kelly in light of IS Reorg.

General Accomplishments for June 2001:
--------------------------------------
- Worked with Peter Kelley and Jonathon Weiss to establish a plan for
  handling support for the SAPweb test/dev server (SPORKIE.MIT.EDU).
- Met with Peter Kelley re EAST taking over IXOS
- Peter Kelley and I agreed on a tentative plan for EAST and ASST to
  cooperate on operational support for key systems (e.g. IPM, SAPweb,
  IXOS, CaseTracker, etc.).  This plan has been approved by Roger Roach
  and Bob Ferrara.
- Participated in initial IS Delivery Council presentation to Jim Bruce

General Goals for July 2001 ("c" indicates carryover):

c Finalize plans for team member career development
c Begin discussions with ITAG about VPNs
- Choose individual and team EC3 modules.

General Issues:

- New vac-request@mit.edu partially addresses one of last month's issues
- Still need single local ABST point of contact for purchases
- Rocklyn moved from N42-240N to N42-250L early in July.
- Still waiting for final word on team status of Jana and Kelly

COEUS

COEUS Goals for June 2001 ("c" indicates carryover):

c Work on Coeus 3.8 release.
c Start learning JBuilder using the CBT we recently bought
c Work with Chuck on Java roles API module
- Coordinate with UCSD for testing the new Conflict of Interest module
  in 3.8

COEUS Accomplishments for June 2001:
------------------------------------
- Working on Coeus 3.8
- Completed design for Conflict of interest module.
- Had meetings with OSP for finalising design of reporting requirements
  module.
- Completed Design of reporting requirements module.
- Generated reports for PE lottery.
- Met with Chuck and Roles team to discuss roles java API.

COEUS Goals for July 2001 ("c" indicates carryover):

- Work on Coeus 3.8 release.
- Release a beta version of Coeus 3.8 to UCSD.
- Should complete Coeus 3.8 coding by end of July

COEUS Issues:

- COEUS work is taking longer because more customer requirements have
  been accomodated than initially expected

c Set up documentation for key SAPweb maintenance tasks
c Make requested changes to displayed help desk phone numbers
c Determine feasibility of providing automated SAP system status updates
- Finalize plans for Facilities access to SAPweb
- Finalize choice of staff for SAPweb maintenance
- Set up operational support for SAPweb

SAPweb Accomplishments for June 2001:

- Established that Todd Belton will devote 30% time to SAPweb
- Set up operational support group for SAPweb
- Met with key IS and FSS stakeholders re requested SAPweb enhancements
- Participated in joint presentation to SAP Plan re SAPweb enhancements
- Resurrected sapweb@mit.edu for SAPweb production / development support


SAPweb Goals for June 2001 ("c" indicates carryover):

Telecom / ICE9

Telecom Goals for June 2001:
----------------------------
- Continue production support.
- Finish database cleaning related to VDIN equipment rate changes and
  start  modifications.
- Start work related to Switch replacement.
- Find more about new discovery team for IP billing project.

Telecom Accomplishments for June 2001:
--------------------------------------
- Fixed 22 service orders.
- Produced 27 adhoc reports.
- Made 2 client installations.
- Worked with Verizon on changing calling card number on Verizon tape
  from 617 to 601 with negative result.
- Developed procedure for changing calling card number from 617 to 601.
- Worked with CSR's and telecom billing personnel continuing analysis and
  data cleaning in preparation for new VDIN rates effective July 1, 2001.
- Worked with Dennis Baron and Robyn Blanco on massive cleaning of IP
  addresses information as preparation for new splitted rates starting
  from July billing.
- Started work on new Telecom feed into SAP accordingly to Option 1
  (details) initiated by Angie Malone.
- Finalized specifications for new Telecom feed into SAP and started
  development.
- Worked with Data Warehouse team in order to provide calling card holder
  names as part of Telecom feed into Warehouse.
- Prepared and sent information from ICE-9 requested by Lucent as part of
  5ESS replacement work.
- Contacted consultant for ICE9-9 modifications related to 5ESS
  replacement.
- Requested necessary information from Lucent and delivered it to
  consultant.
- Fixed problem reported by client in 911 application.

Telecom Goals for July 2001:
----------------------------
- Install new VDIN rates into production and create report with old and
  new rates for verification.
- Finish cleaning of IP addresses information.
- Update v-mail information related to new type of rates before July
  billing.
- Develop and test with CAO new feed into SAP.
- Install new SAP feed into production.
- Install modified (names for calling card holders) Data Warehouse feed
  into production.
- Participate in a new effort leaded by Alicia Allen: IP address billing
  inconsistency between Moira and ICE-9.
- Continue work in 5ESS Switch replacement team.

Telecom Issues:
---------------
- New feed into SAP came unexpectedly.
- Linda LeBlanc is leaving.  She supports the ICE-9 application for the
  Campus Police.
