Hello,
This is the usual reminder that monthly reports are due a week from this Friday, May 11. Thanks for the good work in April and before. One direct result of your timely reports is that it facilitates writing the Quarterly Report. You can find the Delivery third quarter report in http://web.mit.edu/is/delivery/dir-reports.html
I am looking forward to figuring out and implementing an updated Delivery process with those team leaders and staff affected by the organizational announcements. If we haven't already spoken, we will. However, my travel plans in the next two weeks could delay some conversations. This Sunday through Wednesday AM, Theresa Regan, Paul Page, and I will be attending the IVY+ Administrative Computing Conference near Cornell in upstate New York. Then from Tuesday evening, May 15 though the following Sunday, I will be visiting family in Minnesota.
Perhaps the biggest challenge is how to organize for the increasing scope and range of academic work. This most affects the Pismire and Athena teams, but several others are also very involved. I've tentatively set a meeting to discuss current thinking with interested staff for 2PM Friday, May 11, In W92-199. Please register your interest with Tom Thornton, Bill Cattey or me. We'll send a definite confirmation early next week.
Cheers, Bob
