Accomplishments past period:
- Completed and implemented all project deliverables (e.g. new Quick
Start, web-based documentation, and product announcement communications)
- Coordinated transition from Delivery into Support
- Updated the project notebook to reflect project completion
- Coordinated with Training & Publications for the placement of an
article on IMAP in the upcoming i/s Newsletter
- Held final meeting with project sponsors
Goals for the coming period:
- The project has completed and the team is being decommissioned.
Issues:
- Network Ops has encountered delays in accomplishing the remaining post
office upgrades to support IMAP (POs 7-10). This delay is related to the
transition of the E40 data center to W92. It is projected that these
upgrades will be completed the weekend of Oct. 7/8 and that all POs will
have full IMAP support as of Tuesday, October 10th.
Additional comments:
- The IMAP Delivery Team Leader will continue to coordinate IMAP related
implementation issues as they arise over the next several weeks even
though the formal project effort has completed.
- As Project Leader, I'm very pleased with the resulting deliverables of
this Delivery effort. I especially want to recognize Helen Rose from
Development IT (an IT Partner and member of the IMAP Delivery Team) as
well as Phyllis Galt (IS Training & Publications) for particularly
noteworthy contributions to this effort.
** This represents the final Delivery Status report for the IMAP E-Mail
Services project.
** Request that the project record in the IS Projects Database for IMAP
E-Mail Services be changed to a status of 'completed'
