accomplishments past period:
- held successful and useful itit review
- participated in first pre-discovery discussion
- discussed conceptual data model and issues with scott thorne
- set up test server
- began research on options for solving secure user login from the desktop
issue; looking into 2 java kerberos implementations
- continued effort to understand some of the workflow issues
goals for coming period:
- explore resource options now that reid is leaving
- determine work that can go forward without a reid replacement and
establish a workplan for remaining summer months
issues:
- lack of java server expertise resources at a time when the next phase of
work was to focus on the server and architecture issues
key learning:
- always be prepared to adjust plans and directions; always be prepared to
justify the importance of your project.
