This summer, ITLT will be adopting new procedures for describing, planning and
tracking the work performed by Information Systems. In conjunction with these
new procedures, they will be using a new application system based on a database
which will contain three kinds of information:
(1) theme, strategy and initiative information from the IS Strategic
Planning efforts;
(2) project information as currently maintained in the
IS Projects DB;
(3) activity information describing the work of standing and process
teams (we do yet have a process to collect this information).
Schematically, it looks like this:
----strategic plan-(1)---+
|
----projects-(2)---------|------> IS Work Database
| (web, oracle dbms, java servlets)
----activities-(3)-------+
The purpose of this message is to announce the availability of the information
collected in the strategic planning work (1) above, and to encourage you to
comment on this information.
To look at this information, link to:

Please send your comments, questions and suggestions using the comments links
that appear at the top of each page. Comments and updates will be incorporated
into the database after review by these ITLT Theme owners:

Theme 2 -> Greg Anderson <ganderso@mit.edu>
Theme 3 -> Susan Minai-Azary <azary@mit.edu> and
Roger Roach <rar@mit.edu>
