Good morning,
Because some of you will be attending Educause next week, Susan,
Bob, and I wanted to get the meeting announcement and agenda to you soon
for our next Project Leaders meeting, Friday, Nov. 5 in N42-286.
Please note that there are two segments. From 9:30 - 10:15, Jeff
Pankin, now a consultant in Performance Consulting & Training, will lead an
exercise for us in active listening. We encourage everyone to attend.
9:30 - 10:15 Listening - Jeff Pankin
This is an exercise on effective, active listening.
These skills are critical for understanding our customers.
Jeff will offer tools and techniques to enhance our
listening skills.
Outcomes: raise awareness of and practice listening
skills that are important components for understanding
and reaching agreements with our customers.
