Concerned about accurate Internet press coverage? Interested in
joining the ranks of the noted and quoted? Here's your chance --
I'm working on several (four at last count) Internet-related
articles for the trade press (list follows), and am looking for a
_few_ more sources to quote (and want to make sure I'm covering
the right bases). The articles are:

#1) Joining the Internet: Who to Call. How to decide which net
or site to connect to (regionals, commercials, agency backbones,
etc); starter contact points.

#2) Internet Applications. A potpourri of real examples ranging
from research and education to corporate, commercial and individual.

#3) What New Internet Sites Need to Know. Important info, tips
to prepare for being on the Internet, e.g., numbering, security...

#4) NREN: Whither and Why. An analysis piece, on questions
like: Who benefits, applications; where does the money go, do we
need NREN; relationship of privatization and commercialization...

I need to have collected most of my quotes and info within the
next two weeks. If you're interested, let me know PDQ or ASAP.

I've already got a fair amount of info towards these, but want to
make sure I'm comprehensive and up-to-date, as best possible. I'll
be contacting the 'usual suspects' (NRI, NIC, commercials, MERIT,
NNSC, FARnet, etc.), and doing my best to wade through the piles
of info packets, Internet Resource Guide, e-mail messages, etc.

Thanks,

Daniel Dern
