So we can assume the suggestion is that networking will be a reward
for people who's streets are safe? Bossie, get off that T1 line!
Having grown up and worked in two major cities (first NYC and now
Boston*) I don't think the right approach is to cut off those people
who actually have to live in those "war zones". Most of them are
huddled in their rooms every night, at least let them login!
* And yes, I have worked and spent time in tough inner-city
neighborhoods. You're more likely to be mugged, but less likely to die
of lack of exercise or boredom. And if you want someone to go in just
call me, it can be arranged. The food is usually quite good.
