We should go off line with a dicussion of whether regulation is good
or bad and whether data networking is or is not a natural monopoly.
My personal feelings are that regulation distorts the world more than
it helps in most cases where there is not a natural monopoly. The
only justifyable case I know of right now is the power industry.
certainly the telephone industry has no technical reason in the
future to be a monopoly.
Now off line.
