We should go off line with a dicussion of whether regulation is good  
or bad and whether data networking is or is not a natural monopoly.  
My personal feelings are that regulation distorts the world more than  
it helps in most cases where there is not a natural monopoly. The  
only justifyable case I know of right now is the power industry.  
certainly the telephone industry has no technical reason in the  
future to be a monopoly.
