Given all that ANS is getting of late on this list, perhaps another Top
10 list is in order, just to take the pressure off these poor guys a
little. What the hey, it's Christmastime.

The Top Ten greetings that are more dreaded than:

"Hello, I'm from ANS and I'm here with some agreements for you to sign."

"Hello, I'm from

10) BBN and I'd like to sell you a network. [me first]
 9) Korea and I'd like to connect to your network, please.
 8) AT&T and what is the subject?
 7) the Chronicle. Seen any good GIF files today?
 6) the State Dept and I'd like to explain export controls.
 5) the Dept of Energy and I'm here to help me- you! I meant "you".
 4) EFF and I'm here to level your playing field.
 3) DNCRI and everyone is doing a wonderful job!
 2) FARNET and I'd like to talk quietly about competition.
 1) PSI. Let's do (Al's) lunch.

Happy New Year! --Kent
