Well after wading through all the new traffic regarding ANS/commercial traffic
I have a couple of questions/thoughts.

I really think a regional/mid level network would benifit from having the
ability to tell ANS they don't want commercial traffic. The only way
I see it being bad is if the agreement you have to sign to get the traffic is
abusive. (it my understanding that its not but hey I haven't read it yet)

This new development means that if we wanted to we could all say
we will connect to the CIX and tell ANS not to send us commercial traffic.
IF most of the mid levels did this than ANS would have a real tough
time claiming they can sell commercial customers a real solution....

This doesn't mean that I advocate this merely that I see this as an option.
It would be much worse (IMHO) if ANS/NSF declared they could send
commerical traffic anywhere they wanted or if you didn't want it you had
to figure a way to filter it and make it work...

Perhaps if someone from ANS were to post what the agreement is we have to sign
then people would rest easier
