Bill bought the Fuzzies while working for the Cornell Theory Center,
and that was while Cornell was running the interim version of the
NSFNET. Ari's dates are correct - the Cornell Theory Center was
prior to the Soliciation for the backbone - we ran it under subcontract
to Univ. of Illinois. And by the way, that was "awarded" to Cornell
because Bill volunteered me to run the network, not thru and "due process".
