Having gotten pitches from ANS, PSI, and UUnet while I was at a PREVIOUS
EMPLOYER, I felt the pitchpersons were rather professional and emphasized
business solutions much more so than providing a "gee whiz" spin.  BTW,
my PREVIOUS EMPLOYER is no novice to internetting (as yours isn't either),
so the starry eye stuff wouldn't have gone over well anyway.  

I wish the EINet folks well, but after reading the press that swb sent
to this list, I think their general pitch is OK, but their initial list
of clientele, if it's an indicator of the companies they'd like to solicit
is of no importance to me, at best.
