FLAME ON
I have just about had enough of this list. In all of my time on
the net, I have not experienced a list with more attempted
character assassination or vitriolic verbiage than com-priv.
I am sick of snide remarks, outright insults, and juvenile
behavior. I am disappointed that what I thought was going
to be an enlightening and interesting discussion of the
issues regarding commercialization and privatization of
the Internet has instead been mostly a persuasive argument
for NOT subscribing to lists AT ALL.
If I were not afraid of missing something of actual substance,
I would retreat to more civilized pastures where discussion
participants know enough to focus on substantive content
rather than personal insult.
FLAME OFF
None of the preceding is meant to cast aspersions upon
those who make this list possible or who keep it
going. As for the rest of us, if the shoe fits, it's yours.
