Sigh! What I said quite deliberately, was lost in your ellipses.
I said "representatives from NSF, FARnet..." which is completely
different and accurate.
I did not pretend to say that FARnet's position was represented,
because as we all now, FARnet as an organization has not decided
on a position in this matter.
Could you read a little more carefully before taking potshots.
