I'm not sure what current situation you think is 
relevant, however, the one that really needs stomping on is the 
incredible greed that fuels crises such as the widespread savings and loan 
fiasco that WE ARE ALL PAYING FOR that just coincidently sprang up 
coast-to-coast like an invasion of thistle in our wonderful unregulated 
garden. 

Is this the kind of dialog that you want to perpetuate ?  Do not 
pretend that our problems are caused by our so-called welfare state. The 
evil trend is a shrinking middle class and a growing poverty class. If 
you think that 
this is happening because some people are just plain lazy, fine. If you 
think that I.T. should not be a part of publicly funded education and 
community development, fine. If you distrust the EFF, fine. Just stop the 
bullshit now.
