   Competition and free markets work.  Government intervention doesn't.

As AT&T's prosperity should have shown, government intervention works
just fine when it intervenes *on your behalf*.

When you say that government intervention doesn't work, you beg the
definition of "work".  Of course it works.  The roads work, the courts
work, the police work, and even Congress works.  They just don't work
as well as if they had to compete against someone.
