Ok, what's the big deal?

The EFF positions on civil liberties in cyberspace are pretty libertarian.
The EFF positions on opening access are moderately socialist.

Do people really want to argue that the EFF shouldn't have the right
to take positions of its choice? Sure there are people who disagree
with one or more of them, but if you disagree then the wonders of
our society let you form your own group to push your viewpoint.

It's not evil to be socialist on opening the data highway.
It may not be the best public policy, but if you think otherwise
you can make your case the same as they make theirs. There's no
reason to go around drumming up hatred for them trying to push
what they believe in.
