The whole story with hierarchial name spaces was told
long time ago by J.L.Borges in "The Analythical Language
Of John Wilkins". That essay also contains a nice
reference to an ancient Chinese encyclopaedia.
Read it and then argue -- if you'll have anything to
argue about in relation to which DNS scheme is better.
