Well, there are a lot of ways to do it, but not everyone out there is a
programmer. I sense a nice market opportunity for a point-and click
filter specifying system.

If we have no legal recourse and the other alternatives, no matter how
fun they might be, are tinged with ethical and legal problems, then
let's have a general boycott. Put the advertisers on notice that if
they use this service, no one will buy from them and we guarantee that
we call them and complain clearly and responsibly that we do not
accept this kind of behavior and we will make a point to make sure we
and everyone we know will not engage in commerce with them.
Now, what are the ethics of a USENET-wide post calling for a general
boycott?
