Who can follow all this stuff???
That is why I would like to get wais or some combination of nuero
nets... up and running.
Problem: How do you set up your own user profile and keep it
confidential?
Problem #2: How do you search free text but allow fuzzy
language (i.e: use for, broader term, narrow
term, sounds like...)
Problem #3: Currently searching is database specific
(there is a learning curve, if one is familiar
with the vocabulary info is easier to access)
Problem #4: Will WAIS eleminate the need for thesauri and
controlled vocabulary.
Problem #5: One can decide to limit the amount of money to
spend by server.. but how do you know without
*knowing* wheather that is the data that
will trigger the Euricka response.
Problem #6: Will the commercial database and searching
suppliers change to meet the needs of End
Users?
