Until the CIX gets the (Bal...s ) to stop traffic from sites that are non
members there is no teeth to their threats. Just because something might
go away is no reason to keep people from using it, while its there. What
do you get for $10,000 in the ENFORCEMENT dept. Not much. Non CIX sites
should be blocked. This includes ANS & Sprint and any other group that
has customers who are non members. As long as I can get full connectivity
without paying why should I.
Please understand what I am saying here. I support the CIX idea. I simply
think the have no guts. I think there are alot of reason why the
directors don't go to war. Maybe getting sued personally is one of them.
Whatever the reason - No. # 1 is , Its not in the personal and business
BEST INTEREST of the main board members. Any trade group run this way is
headed for troubles. I see it like a "union". And I don't pay dues to
groups that fail to enforce their agreements. Block the traffic and lets
see who needs who. If I was a member I would be demanding this.
