Suggestion- if Digital Cash becomes commonly used, it could also serve as a
convienient point of taxation. (of course this might turn out to be a fatal
blow to digital cash...)
Question- Haven't there been some experiments with accounting mechanisms for
the net? (NSF, Commerce-Net??) Can someone post a summary if they know
anything about this?
It might turn out that a tax is the wrong solution. But fee-for-service is
clearly the right problem. And at the moment a transaction-tax seems like an
elegant solution to me.
