Sprint does not want to provide Granny and Auntie M in Booneville their POTS service - They want to cream skim the Inter-LATA business traffic from the RBOCS - period. There really is nothing wrong with that strategy from a revenue generation/business standpoint, just don't position altruistic rationale as reasoning behind regulatory reform.
