A few days ago I mentioned some note I saw on another list about Stanford
being approached by venture capitalists to acquire BARRNet.  Since then
I've received email (and phone calls) from a few folks (oh, people at
Stanford, and some ISPs...).  These people wanted to know who said that
(uh, oh, it sounds like someone shouldn't have spilled the beans!) or where
they said it.

The original posting I saw was from the techno-l (Technology licensing and
technology transfer) mailing list.    LISTSERV@mitvma.mit.edu   I suggest
you subscribe to that list and/or check their archive...
