Blaming the Internet for poor content is like blaming the printing press
for all the forms of junk printing it helps people produce. They both are
simply technologies that enhance freedom of expression. With freedom comes
some dregs.
No one would argue that all of printed material is rubbish. In time the
Internet will develop many other publishing fora, suiting the tastes of
many more people (probably you'll pay for the good stuff). These things
take time.
