If you feel that strongly about how horrible it is...why are you here? 
Especially in this Roman circus called com-priv.  And since you have 
net access, and are on com-priv having this discussion, aren't you 
included with the "people who have no conception that your abusing the 
public?"  I see recommending government regulation and clipper as 
_advocating_ abuse of the public, but apparantly opinions differ.

Save yourself an ulcer and join moderated groups and mailing lists...and 
remember you don't have to read things that offend you (maybe work on your 
filtering and kill files).
