Just for some context to what "working with" has meant. There have
been a series of "invitation only" meetings that ANS has held, in which
all parties had to sign confidentiality agreements in advance to attend.
Some of these meetings had multiple ANS/IBM lawyers present to provide
support.

Neither Alternet nor PSINet were ever invited to these meetings.

These meetings have resulted in contracts which ANS has distributed
to some. For instance Infonet. Long standing members of the
community like Alternet and PSINet have not been given copies of
these contracts, despite having requested so.

To be fair, I have had the settlement model explained to me in a
meeting with ANS that at a high level explained the philosophy
but without the detail that others have been given or that are
detailed in a contract.

I am aware of other parties who have been dealt with similiarly.

ANS has been working with many of these players over the past eleven
months to develop a set of agreements. At this week's FARnet meeting
in Big Sky, Montana, Al Weis will announce the results of these
 discussions. More details to follow.
