That's right, and you sent it to me as unsolicited mail.  How you expect
a newsletter that will cover the Internet among other things to be 
credible when you start by violating one of its most basic rules is a
good question.  Let's start by taking me off your list.

Speaking of lists, are you folks aware that something that appears to
be the list you sent the announcement to is retrievable from your
anonymous-FTP account on alpha.vyne.com?  I can't prove it, but the text
of your message is in the same directory (/pub/uploads) -- but my name 
is one of the 350+ on it.  

Your passwd and group files are also retrievable, FWIW. (in /etc)

I can't tell who your network provider is, so I can't (yet) file a 
complaint to them.  Let this suffice for now.  Again:

1) Do not send me any more unsolicited mail.
2) Take my name out of that publicly accessible file.

I have taken the liberty of cc'ing this to the com-priv discussion
list of which I am a member, as problems like this are one of the
things we try to keep track of.
