At the bottom of your message (Russell's) you say: "Ask me about
the harm software patents can do" I would like to ask. Most
of what happens on this list is technically over my head, but
one of the reasons I joined the list was to find out about
how issues of intellectual property are interpreted. So,
what is the harm that software patents can do? does this
apply to copyright too?
