Fine, you only get to call me 6 times or 3 hours during the duration of
our connection contract (min 1yr service fee). Run what you like to my machine.
You are restricted to 9600 baud (although you can compress & I might
install V.fast modems). This is shell service.
You can call anytime you are unable to reach anyone in the IPinternet.
I register your IP routes to my upstream neighbors, assist w/ DNS registration
and get you to other IP NSP's. You can run what you like, can start
at 9600 and move up w/o serious loss. (Seamless upgrade path.. at least to
others on the net who see you.) You can even move to another NSP if
you get tired of me. I lose out here, getting you up to speed.
This is IP reselling.
Which has the larger support burden? Which put my reputation on the line
as an NSP?
