Here are a couple of questions, since most of the traffic on this
subject seems to be governed by perceptions of how large or small the
CIX membership fee of 10K is:
1. Is there to be only ONE level of CIX membership? Is there something
obvious that would prevent a multiple level membership (say like the X
Consortium or the OSF) from working?
2. Are there any hard numbers relating to bandwidth consumed by an IP
customer vs. a Unix-shell customer? It would seem like some people genuinely
fear the former but I wonder about the numbers.
