In March 14 Network World Ellen writes that Coren is putting out an RFP for its own backkbone. MCI apparently no longer "owns" the CoREN deal. (I had heard
that MCI was either unwilling or unable bid on a t-3 ATM network for CoREN.) Interesting...... huh?
Ellen made reference to a possibility that the new architecture could be
ready in October. I am wondering who is making such a claim???
Also WESTNET is listed as a full fledged member of CoREN. Is this accurate?
Westnet droped out of CoREN last june. Has it since rejoined?
