Hi,

given the recent questions on bugtraq, which are potentially answered
by Posix.1e, I wonder why it is not referenced more often. Does it suck?
Is it better to fix all software out there instead? Is it just too new?
Now that the Linux-kernel supports it (but not through the filesystem
yet), we should have a playground for experiments with that technique.

Any comments on Posix.1e as a security measure are welcome. Please
send them to me personally, not to the list. I will make up a summary.

Regards
-Winfried
