hi once more,

another test i made was linux (again suse 6.0) vs. irix6.5.2 which was not
vulnerable. linux (suse 5.2 or 5.3 ;), kernel 2.0.33) vs. irix6.3 crashes
again. irix6.3 vs. irix6.3 is also vulnerable.

the cdrom is exported ro and it doesn't matter whether mounted ro or not

i haven't seen this behaviour with irix5.3/6.2/6.4 and 'normal' (i.e.
harddisk) nfs-exported directories

on the irix6.3 machine: i don't think it is a broken card or cdrom drive
because two (of two) more machines react the same way. but i agree it could
be a general scsi/cdrom problem... who knows ;)

my box is not completely up-to-date-patched but i've got some nfs patches
running. i will patch my box fully and see again (and report if desired)
