hi there,

is there anybody who can confirm this 'DoS' (nothing serious if the server
is not too important ;)) :

exporting a cdrom (say /CDROM) from an irix6.3 (gna) box to a linux box
(blubb) (SuSE 6.0, kernel 2.0.36) can lead to a crash of the irix box.

blubb:/> mount gna:/CDROM /mnt2
blubb:/> cd /mnt2/foo/bar
blubb:/> ls
hihihi.rpm
blubb:/> rpm -i hihihi.rpm
and booom... gna goes down.

(
kernel fault: software detected SEGV
NFS2 getattr failed for server /dev/scsi/sc0d4l0: Timed out
)

this effect is repeatable.
can anybody try this on other OS versions
