I think it is worth noting that

1. You have to enable the objectserver/directoryserver scheme (which I know
many people have disabled because of excessive memory usage) to run the
tools in /usr/Cadmin/bin in IRIX 6.2. These tools have been redesigned in
6.4 ->

2. I have not been able to find any vulnerable temporary files if you run
gr_osview from the commandline instead of via /usr/Cadmin/bin/chost.
