Earlier this week, I reported that Slmail v2.5 is vulnerable to a denial of
service attack on the POP3 port. Mr. L.A. Heberlein, President of Seattle
Lab has been in touch with me and reports that the problem has been fixed
in v2.6, which should be available in beta form by Friday (10/17).

We have not been able to verify this fix, but will do so when it is made
available to us, and I would urge any current customers using their product
in an Internet-exposed area to consider upgrading to the new version as
soon as possible.
