As it turns out, the MSNBC News screen saver shares the same problem as the
MS IE browser IF you use the program as a web browser (by clicking on the
"Internet" button).
This program is quite similar to PointCast and the AfterDark Online news
delivery utilities which download news and other items of interest and
display them on your computer as a screen saver while you're off-line.
