     If I've been pre-empted in this, great.

     I'm trying to maintain a web page detailing information on this Ping
     problem. Its fairly sparse at the moment, but I'm about to try
     dropping our Ultrix and DEC Unix boxes with this bloody-great ping
     problem and I'll fill in the details then.

     It's not very complete, and it's not a very fast site, but If you all
     keep me posted on which systems are vulnerable to this ping problem,
     I'll keep the page up to date.

     ** BTW. I've also put Alans patch, plus the patch that identifies who
     tried to exploit the problem (both for Linux) on line as well..
