At the risk of drifting too far off-topic, it is *very* useful to have
procmail or some other scriptable general-purpose mail filter
installed as the local delivery agent.  It can give you a single point
of control for attacks such as these, as well as for the workaday
braindamage encountered from sites like Compuserv.
