For those of you with Xerox N40 printers that have been falling over on
the Code Red worm scan, Xerox has a firmware upgrade. Call Xerox support
at 800-835-6100, push 1, push 1, and ask for the 1.87-25 version of the
firmware.
Also COMPLAIN VEHEMENTLY about the lack of ACLs on their printers. They
say they have lots of security on the current models. Well that's great
if you're buying their current products, but not so great if you are a
past customer. So I say buy HP instead!
