test it on HPUX 11.0 and Solaris 8 running 8.0.6. the cpu jumped to 100%.
However this toke a few minutes until impact.

What release of Oracle 8 was this tested on? Any patches applied?
I've tested with Oracle 8.0.6 on Solaris 6 and 7 and have not experienced
any problems. Am I missing something here?
