It's recoreded as Sun bug 4404947 sysi86 argument validation needs work
and for Solaris 8 (Intel only, of coruse) you can install patch 108529-07.
(That's the kernel jumbo patch)

Patches for older OS releases are in the pipeline.

The patch was released 17/4.
