I've been working with hp-ux for over 10 years. they've got an
unfortunate tendency to re-introduce bugs that have been fixed in earlier
versions. they also have a habit of *not* including patches in subsequent
releases.
example: "a" is broken. hp issues a patch for "a". sysadmins install
it. the next os rev comes out. "a" is still broken (the patch may still
work for the new os, but geez).
