"Why do I get Access Denied" is a question I often hear from IIS users and
admins. A new tool is available to explain a lot of the reasons why. It is
available now from:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q229/6/94.asp
It covers IIS4 and IIS5.
