Greetings group. Although I don't have anything definitive to report
at this moment about the fate of the second GMA (Grant will keep us
all updated via ad-lib), I can say with confidence that the database
has sufficient problems as to render testing of it superfluous. So,
please continue to hang onto your test forms and await further word.
We'll soon find out if the GMA2 can be fixed or if a third GMA will be
necessary. (If we go with a 3rd GMA, we'll probably get access to the
test database in the interim. We can use the test database for
practice and various kinds of testing while we await the new REAL database.)
I'll be out of town Mon. - Wed. of next week. Anne will be in charge
of things on the Advance Circ front for that period, so please direct
questions to her. In general, we all receive updates from Grant
simultaneously via messages to advancecirc-lib, but if there's any
liaisoning to be done while I'm away, Anne will handle it.
