We have reviewed all of the Fund Account Number mappings and all of the
account numbers converted correctly!
The Fund balance differences that we reported in the I GMA also happened
in the GMA II. However, some of the migration differences now are
GLIS closed orders that appear as open/encumbered orders on Advance.
There are about a dozen of these and by using the GLIS year/end reports
they can be identified. I have spoken with Charlene and what we will have
to do is look at each of these individually and probably cancel the order
on Advance. In the other cases, as reported after the 1st GMA, the
problem appears to be a credit memo processing problem on GLIS. These
again, sometime in the future will have to be reviewed by Acquistions.
So far on the system, I have added a couple of new Serials Accounts for
Ellen and have journalized beginning budget balances in a few accounts
for Monographs as well as updating some detail account information.
Everything thus far seem okay. It will be nice, however, when we have the
reports and the check request.......
