Directly outside my office you will find a large quantity of Advance
Trouble Report Sheets (aka Advance Problem report forms) that Grant
has drawn up for us to use for reporting problems. Next to the box of
forms, I have also posted a copy of Grant's recent e-mail to ad-lib in
which he gives specific directions on how we are to report bugs,
suggestions, comments, questions about the Advance system. Please
take note that Grant has asked that we use the report form NOT e-mail.
Please make copies of all problem reports and examples that you send
to Grant and put them in the wire basket next to the forms. Please
check off what kind of problem you are reporting in the upper left
hand corner of the report form (e.g., Bibliographic, Holdings, Authorities).
Testing is on the agenda for this week's BOG meeting, so, I expect
that we will be refining how we go about testing and reporting
problems over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for your patience as
we continue to work out procedures.
