Fixed fields and reformatting questions

I found a couple oddities in the fixed fields on the serial workform:
you're prompted to input codes for title page, index, and cumulative index
availability. You can get away with not inputting a code for the first two
but if you don't input a "0" or a "1" for cumulative index availability,
you can't continue.
Also, I couldn't seem to get the reformatting (edit check) to work after I
retrieved a record from the workfile. Has anyone been able to get this to
work after the initial edit?
I played with adding a test record to the main database and then deleting
it. According to what I read in the manual, you should be able to retrieve
the deleted record and restore it from the "Deleted record workfile." I
can see it but I'm not authorized to retrieve my own record...This could be
a problem if something accidently is deleted during editing.
